Rob Wallbridge

Rob Wallbridge

Thompsons Organic Specialist

Rob Wallbridge grew up on conventional dairy and cash crop farms in Eastern Ontario and produced organic crops and vegetables from 1998 to 2015, most recently at Songberry Organic Farm in Bristol, Québec.

Prior to joining Thompsons Limited as their Organic Specialist, Rob worked as an organic inspector, did extension work for the Organic Meadow Co-operative and consulted on organic agronomic, marketing, and certification projects.

Rob sits on the AAFC Organic Value Chain Roundtable and the Standards Interpretation Committee for the Canadian Organic Standard. He’s also a member of the Board of Directors of the Organic Council of Ontario (OCO).

Rob is a graduate of the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program (AALP Class 9), and is a Certified Crop Advisor with his 4R Nutrient Management Specialist designation (CCA-ON 4R NMS).
